U.S. Rep. Joe Garcia (D-District 26) is going to name a replacement Tuesday for the former Chief of Staff Jeffrey Garcia, who is kind of busy 
serving a 90-day sentence for absentee ballot fraud.
The new chief of staff in D.C. will be a woman, sources told Ladra.
Jeffrey “No Relation” Garcia was Joe Garcia’s campaign consultant for all his bids for public office, including last year’s, in which he finally succeeded to topple former Congressman David “Nine Lives” Rivera. Of course, Rivera was under a media siege about the 52-count indictment on him never served and the start of a new investigation into his possible meddling in the primary.
Earlier this year, the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office found that hundreds of requests had been made via computer without the voters’ consent or even knowledge. Jeff Garcia resigned right away in May.
Raul “Raulito” Martinez, Jr., son of former Hialeah Mayor Raul Martinez, has been doing the job interim since then but sources say he wants to stay in the district office in Miami.
Garcia’s office is expected to send a press release today about the replacement, but make the official announcement tomorrow.
