For the First-Time DishLATINO and Cinelatino Confirmed Presenting Sponsors of the 2017 Hispanicize Tecla Awards

Named after the Spanish-language word for an individual key on a keyboard, the annual Hispanicize Tecla Awards honors excellence in U.S. Latino online video, blogging, social media and those who create it. As co-presenting sponsors, the brands will be highlighting DishLATINO’s new 'Sigue Haciéndola' campaign which will also be featured at the conference’s inaugural CMO Summit and throughout their various activations during Hispanicize Week.

'Sigue Haciéndola' (which translates “keep pressing on”) is a comprehensive campaign recognizing and celebrating U.S. Hispanics, from their cultural heritage to the values, dreams, and even challenges that inspire them to keep moving forward. Latin Grammy Best New Artist Nominees, Periko & Jessi León, will be performing the song they created for the campaign at the 2017 Tecla Awards.

Joining Periko & Jessi León will be several surprise music acts and a line-up of top Latino and multicultural digital content creators who will present the various categories of the Tecla Awards. All nominations submitted during the public nominations phase were considered and reviewed by Hispanicize Media Group partners and the Hispanicize National Advisory Board who together determined the finalists for each category. The actual winners of the 3rd Annual Hispanicize Tecla Awards will be determined by The Teclas Gold Academy, a panel of judges consisting of marketing, PR and social media executives, creators, and other experts in the digital media industry. Winners will be revealed the night of April 6th, 2017 during the Tecla Awards ceremony, which will be streamed live from Miami for viewers worldwide.
